.@charli_xcx’s music catalog has been surging in streams this summer, thanks to her album Brat. In the Feb. 2-8 tracking week (before releasing the album’s lead single, “Von Dutch”), her catalog tallied 4 million on-demand official U.S. streams, according to Luminate. In the latest tracking week (July 26-Aug. 1), her catalog raked in 48.99 million streams. That’s a 1,106% gain. A number of factors have contributed to her surge: a viral TikTok dance trend for her song “Apple”; a co-sign from @KamalaHarris’ presidential campaign (@KamalaHQ) that began after Charli tweeted “Kamala IS Brat” on July 21; and new remixes with @lorde and @billieeilish.
