We’re urgently scaling our work on AI and biosecurity. I began leading @coeff_giving’s grantmaking on AI and biosecurity 18 months ago. I think we’re at a critical moment: transformative AI may arrive soon, and the world isn’t ready for it. Over the past year and a half, we’ve been changing how we work so that we can act at the speed the situation demands. In 2024, Coefficient Giving committed $168 million across our technical AI safety, security, and fieldbuilding work. In 2025, we more than doubled that to $351 million, and this year we're on track to commit over $1 billion. In August alone, we committed $352 million across this portfolio, more than in all of 2025. Of course, our ultimate goal isn’t to move money; it’s to make progress on the most important and neglected problems in navigating transformative AI and reducing biological risk. When there are tradeoffs between moving money and having impact, we prioritize the latter. This means we expect to keep saying no to many proposals. Even so, the dollar figures are a proxy for the fact that we’re finding many opportunities we’re excited about, and saying yes to them faster than before. BLUE ORIGIN RAISES $10B AT $140B VALUATION Jeff Bezos has now invested roughly $30B into Blue Origin since founding the company in 2000, including another $2B as part of its first outside funding round. Internal projections show revenue rising from: 2025: ~$800M 2026: ~$1.4B 2030: $30B+ Blue Origin expects growth to come from New Glenn launches, a planned satellite communications business and a future fleet of AI satellites. The company currently employs ~15,000 people and is rebuilding its Florida launch complex after a New Glenn vehicle exploded on the launchpad in May. Source: WSJ

That puts their valuation at 100x this year’s sales. $SPCX is valued at only around 45x FY26 sales estimate. SPCX looking like a steal

Blue Origin may close its funding round above the $10B initially targeted with $AMZN founder Jeff Bezos having already invested about $30B of his own fortune. The company expects revenue to grow from ~$1.4B this year to more than $30B by 2030.
