🇮🇹 | Tear gas, water cannons and clashes at protests in Bologna on Monday night. 4,000 people had taken to the streets over the death of a Moroccan-born man in police custody. Police responded with batons, tear gas and water cannon. Clashes continued past midnight. Abderrahim Fakir, 42, died on Sunday in the working-class Pilastro district. Residents had called emergency services reporting a man in distress. Police arrived before medics, used irritant spray, then forced him face down and cuffed his wrists and ankles. Two officers held him in that position. Bystander video shows him shouting "Help, help, enough" for more than two minutes before falling silent. Paramedics were present and did not intervene. Prosecutors have opened a manslaughter investigation into six people: two officers and four emergency responders. None have been formally named as suspects. Fakir arrived in Italy aged seven and lived there 35 years.

Video calls stayed stable, DAZN streamed without buffering and eight Prime Video episodes downloaded in just over three minutes. Starlink is already installed on 19 of Italo’s 51 trains. That will rise to 27 by the end of September, 45 by year-end and the entire fleet by March 2027. Wi-Fi will remain free for passengers.
