Peter Corke put one of the most useful robotics resources on GitHub.
Not one algorithm... an entire robotics toolbox!
Kinematics + dynamics
Inverse kinematics + Jacobians
Motion planning + control
Localization + SLAM
50+ robot models
Franka. Universal Robots. Kinova. Puma.
You can load URDFs, generate trajectories, solve IK, simulate motion and visualize everything in 3D.
But the best part might be this:
The code is intentionally written to be readable.
So instead of only calling a function and getting an answer, you can actually open the implementation and understand what is happening underneath.
The project builds on Peter Corke's Robotics Toolbox work going back to the 1990s and is now used for robotics education and research.
For anyone trying to actually learn robotics, this is an incredible playground.
Free. Open source. Python.
