The crypto space moves fast, but not everything deserves your attention. Sometimes you just need to slow down, look beyond the noise, and actually understand what you're looking at. That's what I'm doing with $GEORGE. Exploring the ecosystem. Watching the community. Following the journey. Curiosity first. Conviction follows. 🌐 📲 @GEORGE_FOC

The crypto space is smaller than it seems. Many of you are already connected with founders, marketers, BDs, and community managers across different ecosystems. So we're launching Sumex Scouts. If you know a project that could benefit from: • On-chain & CEX reward campaigns • Trading competitions across multiple exchanges • Real user activation instead of empty social engagement Make the introduction. We'll take care of everything from there. If the project comes onboard, you'll receive a reward for the referral. 💰 Simple. DM once ready to make an intro and we'll take it from there! P.S. the most pro-active agents can become full-time members of our team too!

Friends in the English crypto space, are you curious about what "牛来" is? "牛来" is an epic anime movie from the East that represents people's aspirations for a better life. In short, no matter what investments you're making, if you want your wealth to grow, you need "牛来." Haha, you can take this as a joke too—NFA! Bottom line: right now, "牛来" looks like the good stuff.😂

I love long lasting crypto businesses that are either: - there’s no loss when the market is bad, you make more when the market is good, you make less when it’s bad. For example: News Trading, botting, affiliation, MEV Or - have high entry barriers/ require specific edge/ combination of talents&resources. For example, mass sybil airdrop farm with tons of Chinese labors Or - highly profitable opportunities in the grey zone, for example, the DWF Labs’ Trading strategy. They can do this because they operate in countries that manipulation of altcoins isn’t a legal problem, many countries actually treat manipulation of altcoins like pump&dump the price of watches/shoes/cars/arts which the gov don’t cares. In general, I consider myself as a businessman in the crypto space instead of been a trader. I think of running businesses on certainties instead of trading on uncertainties.

The only 2 things are working in the crypto space: 1. tradefi listings 2. market activations 3. prediction markets Both drive volumes, engage traders and create opportunities Despite the best deals are always done when "blood is on the streets", it is hard, people don't join

Quick story time. It took me FOREVER to get my first job in crypto. It was 2023 and I already had 8+ years experience in mainstream marketing including working as a copywriter for a business that spent $10M on Facebook ads per year. And yet - I was no one in crypto. And blockchain seemed very technical and confusing. But I liked the culture. And I loved that the people working in crypto seemed to be: A) genius but socially awkward B) ADHD/ autistic spectrum C) doing their own thing away from the system So I was super determined to get involved. I even remember applying for unpaid internships even though I was insanely overqualified. (Funny that 2 years later, I’d be sitting at an invite-only dinner in Cannes across from the person that rejected me for an unpaid internship and they’d be asking me for media tips lol) Anyway. I wanted a job, fast. And I knew that learning about coding from zero and becoming a dev would take ages. Instead, I decided to do 2 things I had control over: 1) lead with the skills I had that crypto-native people didn’t seem to have 2) become as visible as possible by joining discords, communities, and posting here And damn it, it worked. I joined the @shefiorg course around September 2023. I posted about the things I was learning to 0 followers, then 10 followers, then 100 followers… Then, I started going to small Ethereum events around Europe. I paid for travel and hotels out of my own pocket with the money I was making from my coaching business on instagram. Then, in July 2024, I applied for a job and FINALLY got a response. That came after sending idk how many hundreds of applications. I saw the job on the @BoysClubWorld discord. My instinct was correct - this job required PR, media, and writing skills. I had all of that. And by July, I had a decent knowledge of the crypto space (mostly the culture but some tech, too). I got the job. It was my first real crypto job with a good paycheck. 10 months later, I got an offer from Cointelegraph. I started producing media content on @gazza_jenks’s team. That’s when the cool experiences started coming - free tickets to the F1, super yachts, a reception at Napoleon’s townhouse in Paris, etc. Ultimately, I got my job at WalletConnect where in the last nearly 2 years I’ve gotten a lot more technical. Another funny thing happened during this whole time - Crypto and mainstream tech started intertwining. If you’re a mainstream marketer pivoting to crypto now, you’d be in a lot more demand than I was in 2023 because now everyone wants to get out of the crypto bubble and reach more people. Anyway, sharing this because I saw someone post about internship roles. If I had a chance to travel back to 2023, I would do it all again. I love working in crypto. Hope reading this inspires you somehow. As always - AMA

#PeckShieldAlert# In April 2026, the crypto space saw 40 major hacks totaling $647M—a📈 1,140% MoM surge from March ($52.2M). @DriftProtocol & @KelpDAO exploits now rank among the Top 10 hacks since 2021. The KelpDAO exploiter supplied rsETH to @aave to borrow massive amounts of ETH before laundering the loot into #BTC#. This has exposed the Aave ecosystem to bad debt risk. In response, DeFi United is coordinating an effort to absorb the liquidity shortfall and prevent further systemic contagion. #Top5# hacks - KelpDAO: $292M (Ranked #7#, Jan 2021 – Apr 2026) - Drift: $285M (Ranked #9#, Jan 2021 – Apr 2026) - Rhea Finance: $20M - Grinex: $13.74M - Wasabi Protocol
