Danny Boyle just confirmed generative AI was used in his new film ‘Ink’.
About 30 seconds of it:
→ Animating old photographs
→ Creating mice running around The Sun newsroom
The Oscar-winning director says AI is “a very useful tool” but only if used respectfully and actors still get paid.
Netflix has acquired the North American and Latin American rights to Danny Boyle’s next film, ‘INK’.
• Starring Jack O'Connell, Guy Pearce and Claire Foy.
• Set in 1969, the film follows media tycoon Rupert Murdoch and editor Larry Lamb as they relaunch The Sun newspaper and change the world of tabloid journalism.
Jack O’Connell, Guy Pearce, and Claire Foy star in INK, from Academy Award-winning director Danny Boyle.
A group of visionaries and misfits had an idea for a new kind of news — one that would give the people what they want and would change the face of the world we live in today. Based on the Tony Award-winning play of the same name.
In select theaters December 11 and on Netflix January 8 in the US and Latin America.
