One annoyance with the Cybertruck: You think you've got it all clean at the car wash. Then you drive forward and all the dirty water in the crevices falls out onto the bumper trim 🤦🏻‍♂️ I'll take the small penalty for the rest of this amazing machine.

People in Morgan County, Georgia, say their well water turned brown after construction started on Meta’s huge data center nearby. At a congressional hearing this week, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez showed jars of dirty water collected from local homes. Residents say the problems began after heavy construction and blasting started at the site. Some families reported sediment in their water, low pressure, damaged appliances, and the need for bottled water for daily use. Meta says it does not use groundwater or private wells and that an independent study found no link between the data center and the water issues. The EPA has now agreed to investigate the complaints.

Someone vibe coded an irrigation valve with Claude Code that waters plants only when the soil is actually dry, not on a fixed schedule. A moisture sensor checks the dirt, opens the valve when it drops below your threshold and shuts off when moisture rises. → A motor-driven pinch valve squeezes a flexible tube so no moving part ever touches the water → Works at zero bar pressure so a rain barrel is enough, no pump needed → Handles dirty water, algae and liquid fertilizer → Bistable design needs no power to hold open or closed → Runs 3 months on a single 9V battery → Every custom part prints on a standard 3D printer with half-inch BSPP threads Fully open source with 3D models, PCB files, bill of materials and firmware included.

I’m stuck in the SHU right now. My cell sink has been dead for nearly a week. They won’t give me any bottled water either. The only way I can drink is by catching water from the old shower head. It comes out discolored and leaves a metallic taste every single time. Ever since I started drinking that, my gut has been messed up. Constant discomfort, no relief. Having to pick between going thirsty or swallowing dirty water shouldn’t be a daily choice for anyone. They keep saying I’m presumed innocent. So why does it feel like my basic health is being ignored? If human rights are real… mine seem to have disappeared in here.
