Our founders and even the framers of the 14th amendment lived under and intended on open borders. We had open borders for 150 years until 1921. So it’s completely inaccurate to say the framers and writers didn’t intend to give citizenship to illegals. It’s more accurate to say they didn’t intend on us creating a sub class of people. If you then want to argue about our tax dollars funding them, they also didn’t intend on us being taxed the way we are. They intended on a country where anyone could show up and try to make it on their own without government intrusion, without heavy tax and without forever wars. We are far far far removed from the original intention of this great nation.

Happy Constitution Day! The US Constitution is designed to realize and secure the ideals articulated in the Declaration of Independence through a system premised on the need to separate, check and balance power. The framers understood that “if men were angels no government would be necessary” and “if angels were to govern men neither internal nor external controls on government would be necessary.” The constitutional architecture has witnessed many perversions throughout recent history, including extraconstitutional assertions of authority by courts, the impotence of Congress, and the endurance of a permanent and too often unaccountable bureaucracy. But it still remains the best framework for self-government ever devised. As we celebrate 250 years of the American experiment (with 239 of those under the Constitution), we should work to usher in a constitutional renaissance that will restore that great document to its rightful place at the center of American civic life.

𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦📰 VP JD Vance directly calls out Justice Amy Coney Barrett for upholding birthright citizenship for illegal aliens. Vance didn’t hold back, saying he believes she made a mistake and that the framers never intended for illegal aliens or birth tourists to get full American citizenship benefits.
