Final Fantasy 7 Revelation director says there’s no “clear cut” answer on whether newcomers should play the original 1997 Final Fantasy 7 before the Remake trilogy. Hamaguchi says the original story is “very much enshrined” in the Remake trilogy, so knowing what happened in the original can make it easier to notice what’s changing and “get more out of it.” He says experiencing the story for the first time with the trilogy’s “modern graphical splendor” could make its emotional impact stronger. “It’s down to people’s preferences,” Hamaguchi concludes. “It’s not as clear cut as one way or the other.”

Finally, the second batch of the Uneed Residency is complete ✅ 13 people (+ the 2 sponsors, me, my gf and the cook 😂) will spend a week in a manor in Nantes, from October 26 to November 2, working and learning together! I'm so excited, I really think this batch is going to be amazing!! We've got a lot of different profiles with different strengths, different levels of experience, different types of humor (very important)... But we all have one thing in common. We're entrepreneurs, and our goal is to live off our own projects. It can get pretty lonely though, and that's why these residencies are such a joy to organize.
