Life is better when you're fit, intelligent, and articulate.
hot take: if you you want to build a media empire it makes sense to spend a TON of your time upfront thinking about the content machine/workflow required to get to the qualume (quality + volume) needed to win rather than making your first few pieces of content. build the machine that builds the content.

You can make quantum leaps of progress when you simply commit to doing ONE thing all in.
You can tell how successful someone will be by how decisively they make decisions.
If you understand copywriting, you are dangerous.
wake up babe, jay dropped a FREE copywriting course 🥱
I don't think people understand how much power is at their fingertips because of AI. I can do work in a few hours that used to take TEAMS of people WEEKS. We're living in the best age to be high agency and entrepreneurial.

The tragedy of the modern 20 year old is they spend their prime years only admiring the stories of others. Go out and create your own stories. Mess up. Fail. Try again. When you're old and on your deathbed, you won't regret having too many stories.

Amen
Ah, organic marketing painfully slow for 2 years then suddenly becomes an unfair advantage for the next 20

"Does everyone need a personal brand?" Everyone already has one. It's your reputation. It's just a matter of: 1. do you want to be proactive about crafting it? 2. how many people do you want to know about you?

Before turning 20, @Jayyanginspires had already worked with Tyler Denk, Noah Kagan, and Alex Hormozi. He shared 4 ways to get someone you admire to hire you: 1. Referral Don't ask for an introduction cold. Ask if they know the person well enough to introduce you, which gives them an easy out if they don't. If they say yes, write the message for them. Draft the exact forwarded email yourself, written as if from them. Then give them an out: "Let me know if you want to tell him you're heads down." That way they're not risking their own social capital. They can look like they're on the other person's side. My buddy/mentor Jesse Pujji uses this exact playbook to close $5-10M deals. 2. Cold outreach Don't open with an ask. Your first message doesn't have to get you what you want. It just has to open the conversation: a compliment or a resource, something that shows you've actually paid attention. Jay calls this luck farming: Every genuine thank you or thoughtful share is a seed that can create an opportunity you never planned for. And don't reach out to the person directly. They're already getting swamped. Instead, find the guy's guy. Reach out to their chief of staff, director, or head of content instead. Jay didn't pitch Noah Kagan directly. He thanked Noah's YouTube director, Jeremy, for a podcast that inspired him, and Jeremy passed the pitch deck to Noah. 3. Content You don't need a big following. You need the right people watching. Ask yourself: If I were my target, what would I want to see in someone I want to hire? Then show exactly that in your content. Jay calls the specific version of this the Public Challenge: If you want to work with someone, publicly do work for them every day for 100 days. Post "Day 1 of rewriting Alex's landing page." Tag them every time. Ask friends to tag them too. There's a very high likelihood they see it. 4. Public pitch Instead of a cold DM that gets ignored, pitch publicly. Julia became Shopify's first marketing intern in 10 years. She made a viral video pitching herself, tagging Shopify and their CEO. Even if Shopify had said no, every founder watching now knows she's high-agency and competent. My buddy Matt Epstein pitched Shopify by publicly retweeting Harley Finkelstein's product launch video. He offered to make a better one for free, and only charge if it beat Shopify's own best video. Of the four, Jay says this is the most foolproof. If you want a job or an internship, use the public pitch. But underneath all four is the same principle: Before you send anything, do the homework. Understand what they actually need. Then show up having already done the job before anyone asked you to.
