Flare selects its price data providers by random draw on every block @FlareNetworks builds its price oracle into the chain's core protocol, so every feed is secured by the same economic weight as the network itself, as stated in Flare's developer docs. Each block, roughly every 1.8 seconds, a stake-weighted random draw picks a sample of the network's 100 data providers, and the chosen few submit small updates to the previous price. Every 90 seconds, all providers run a commit-reveal round, submitting prices in sealed form before opening them together so nobody can copy anyone else. Those slower anchor readings keep the fast per-block feeds from drifting, with outlier submissions filtered out.

XRP Holders Can Now Put Their Tokens To Work In DeFi Option Flare’s (@FlareNetworks) FXRP is now accepted as collateral on Derive for options trading and perpetual positions. FXRP is a trustless wrapped version of ripple:native created through Flare’s FAssets protocol. The system locks XRP on the XRP Ledger while minting an overcollateralized FXRP representation. That lets XRP holders use their exposure across EVM compatible DeFi applications. FXRP is also integrated with lending platforms Morpho and Mystic for collateral and yield strategies. The integrations give XRP holders more ways to seek yield and manage market exposure.

The added room follows new stablecoin borrowing venues coming online to deploy deposits against. The vault is accessible through the @XamanWallet Flare Yield app, with withdrawals taking 72 hours as standard, or a fee for instant exit.
