The round was led by M13 Ventures with participation from Twilio Ventures, Corazon Capital, Unusual Ventures, and other existing investors. Previously, Rime completed a $5.5 million seed round in May 2025. Headquartered in San Francisco, Rime aims to build a differentiated advantage in this highly competitive market through its proprietary voice models. The company was founded in 2022 by former Stanford PhD student Lily Clifford, former Amazon Alexa engineer Brooke Larson, and Stanford engineer Ares Geovanos.
