NVIDIA’s latest GeForce Game Ready Driver 616.56 is causing display problems for some users, including screen flickering, brightness changes and brief color corruption. The issue is particularly common at 8-bit color depth, switching to 10-bit has stopped the flickering for many users. The problem isn’t limited to games, users have reported flickering on the Windows desktop and in browsers across RTX 20, 30, 40 and 50-series GPUs. NVIDIA is aware of the problem and is testing a fix.

NVIDIA has officially brought GeForce NOW to Linux with a native app. The app is now available for Ubuntu 24.04 and newer, giving Linux users a dedicated way to stream their PC games through GeForce NOW instead of relying on a browser. NVIDIA says GeForce NOW supports more than 4,500 games, with supported titles able to stream at up to RTX 5080-class performance in the cloud.

NVIDIA’s rumored GeForce RTX 50 SUPER graphics cards have reportedly been shipped to at least some board partners, but their launch has been put on hold due to the high cost of 3GB GDDR7 memory chips. According to reports, NVIDIA is still deciding how to price the new GPUs, as the 3GB GDDR7 memory modules needed for the refreshed cards cost around $60–70 per chip, making them significantly more expensive than expected. The RTX 50 SUPER lineup is expected to increase VRAM capacity on several models by using these larger memory chips, but NVIDIA reportedly doesn’t want to launch until it strikes the right balance between production costs and retail pricing.

I can't get the Nvidia GeForce NOW (@NVIDIAGFN) app to work on Omarchy Linux. The app starts, but when I start a game, the video doesn't show. Codex isn't sure what the problem is, maybe something with Hyprland. Who can help? 🤔
