PlayStation boss Hiroki Totoki says “creativity is for humans, not AI.” Speaking with Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick, Totoki said AI can be a useful tool for developers but won’t replace people, as creativity remains a human strength. “Of course, I encourage my people to use AI in a certain manner, but we try to protect the rights of rights holders, creators, and artists.” Zelnick added that while AI may not replace developers directly, those who embrace it could replace those who don’t. He also argued that AI relies on existing data, while truly unexpected ideas come from people making original creative choices. Both companies use AI internally, but Take-Two says there is no AI in GTA 6.

Actor and voice actor Hiroshi Tsuchida has died at 54. Tsuchida passed away from heart failure on October 11. A private funeral was held with family only. He played Saizo / Ninja Blue in Ninja Sentai Kakuranger and voiced Grisha Jaeger in Attack on Titan. He also provided the Japanese voice of Lightning McQueen in the Cars films. His roles covered tokusatsu, anime, and major Japanese dubbing work across decades.
