Patrick Swayze should’ve turned 74 today. We lost Swayze back in ‘09 when he was only 54. Those of you who’ve followed Cinema Tweets from the jump already know what this man means to me: I adore Patrick Swayze. Guys like this don’t just grow on trees. Swayze was rugged, he was masculine - but he was also incredibly sensitive & emotionally intelligent. He was a lethal combination of both. Swayze was also capable of literally carrying a film just off his personality & charisma. The term “movie star” gets thrown around a lot today. Folks, Patrick Swayze was a true movie star. 🎂
