MONTY PYTHON AND THE HOLY GRAIL (1975) was partly financed by rock legends after studios refused to back it. Led Zeppelin invested £31,500, Pink Floyd contributed £21,000, and Jethro Tull’s Ian Anderson put in £6,300 to help get the film made.
