Modder claybtv has released an open beta for a co-op mode in Resident Evil 4 Remake, letting PC players play through the entire game with a friend. The mod is still in beta, so there are some known issues, including performance drops, animation stuttering, shared inventory pauses, and occasional bugs during certain encounters.

One dedicated modder has spent the last two years fixing the terrible light in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth on PC. David Matos started the project because he felt the game’s lighting often looked flat and didn’t do its beautiful environments justice. What began as a small personal project became a massive overhaul after thousands of hours of work. The latest version of his Shader Injector mod improves lighting, shadows, reflections, water and character lighting Digital Foundry recently checked out the mod and was impressed, saying places like the Gold Saucer look completely transformed thanks to the improved lighting and reflections.
