My Opportunity Zones have already shown what’s possible when we unleash private investment in overlooked communities. By encouraging film production in all corners of America, we can create jobs, attract new investment, and give more communities a chance to shine! #MakeFilmsInAmericaAct#

Movies like Remember the Titans, 42, and Glory Road remind us of chapters in our history when life was far from fair — and how far America has come. Bringing film production back home means protecting American jobs while making sure more of America’s stories are told right here in America! #MakeFilmsInAmericaAct#

When film production leaves America, movie stars still get their paychecks. But the people who bring films to life - the four minutes of names scrolling during the credits - are the ones who pay the price. My film bill supports the camera operators, makeup artists, construction workers, costume designers, caterers, and small businesses who make the magic happen! #MakeFilmsInAmericaAct#

My love for film started at 15 years old while working at a movie theater in North Charleston. Now, that same passion fuels my work to bring filmmaking back to America—not just for the stories they create, but the jobs and communities they uplift right here in America! #MakeFilmsInAmericaAct#
