National Guard units in all 50 states are reportedly mobilizing for next week's elections, per journalist @kenklippenstein. His Substack report cites anonymous military sources. The mission reportedly includes supporting federal cybersecurity, observing ballot drop boxes and polling places, and safeguarding critical infrastructure. The Pentagon, the National Guard Bureau and state governments have not confirmed it. Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Dan Caine has said there are no plans to send federal military personnel or federalized Guard to polling places.

NATIONAL GUARD TROOPS ARE PATROLLING AMERICAN STREETS BECAUSE DONALD TRUMP DECIDED YOUR CITY IS A WAR ZONE Not a hurricane. Not a riot. Not an actual emergency. Just Donald Trump federalizing troops and sending them into Chicago, Portland, Memphis, Los Angeles because he doesn't like who runs them Governors said no. Mayors said no. Federal judges said no, more than once, in writing Doesn't matter. Trump appealed, stalled, refiled, and kept the boots on the ground anyway Soldiers trained for combat are standing on residential blocks running crowd control on grandmothers and delivery drivers Local police chiefs who didn't ask for backup are stuck coordinating with a chain of command that answers to the Pentagon, not the mayor Small businesses in these "occupied" corridors are reporting foot traffic collapsing because nobody wants to walk past armed troops to buy a coffee Ask what this actually costs and the number balloons past a hundred million dollars in deployment expenses, per the Pentagon's own estimates, money that isn't going to shelters, schools, or the disaster relief fund Ask who wins and it's Donald Trump, standing at a podium bragging about "restoring order" in cities he's actively destabilizing Ask who loses and it's every single resident who now has to explain to their kid why there's a Humvee parked outside the
