January: Trump’s account buys $1–5 million of Nvidia in a single trade.
April: He bans Nvidia from selling its chips to China. The stock craters, Nvidia takes a $4.5 billion write-down.
Through the spring: his accounts keep buying the dip, over a dozen Nvidia purchases.
August: He reverses his own ban. Nvidia can sell to China again, if it pays the U.S. government 15% of the revenue. A deal he cut personally.
August 18: his account buys $5–25 million of Nvidia, the single biggest stock purchase of his entire year.
December: He greenlights the even more powerful H200 chips for China, now at a 25% cut.
The President banned the stock, bought the crash, un-banned the stock, then made his biggest purchase of the year.
He controls the switch. He owns the stock. He flips the switch.
