A city councilman said agents sideswiped the car and fired multiple times through the back window. At the press conference, Chief Lisa Davis said they were getting in front of the cameras pretty early and didn’t have all the information yet... But "from what she was hearing," there was a small foot pursuit. She stressed that all of this is still very preliminary. Another Austin police official said the man had one gunshot wound. 🛑 Alliance PD Bodycam Released 🛑 Alliance Police just released bodycam from the fatal shooting of Joseph Derrico Jr., 67. The shooting occurred on September 15 on Johnson Avenue in Alliance, Ohio. It started at Wally Armour's car dealership on West State Street. Chief Akenra X said Derrico had it out with employees and brandished a handgun before leaving. Officers got a description of the man and his vehicle and found him a short time later. Bodycam shows officers shouting for him to turn off the car and put his hands on the roof. He refused. Officers tased him and he did not respond. Police say he then reached around and came up with the gun, and officers fired. Medics tried to revive him at the scene and he was pronounced dead there. Wild video shows suspects fleeing from Bangor PD at a traffic stop today with a k-9 unit leaping in to pursue. Kevin Gray, 44, was booked for refusing to submit to arrest, unlawful possession, refusing to provide a correct name, and violating his probation.
