A city councilman said agents sideswiped the car and fired multiple times through the back window. At the press conference, Chief Lisa Davis said they were getting in front of the cameras pretty early and didn’t have all the information yet... But "from what she was hearing," there was a small foot pursuit. She stressed that all of this is still very preliminary. Another Austin police official said the man had one gunshot wound.
