Kite hardened the fund-safety perimeter, advanced the conversation on agent identity and adoption, and brought the community together from Berkeley to Bangkok to Kuala Lumpur. Here's what we delivered last week: 1️⃣ We shipped three updates on one principle, that funds should be hard to lose on Kite: Wallet Receive now states which assets each network accepts, Kite Agent Passport Skills carry the same deposit guidance you read, and an internal tool moved off the public internet to shrink our attack surface. 2️⃣ That last change briefly cost connectivity between nodes, and Kite Mainnet paused block production for about 28 minutes rather than build on state it could not fully verify. Regional RPC endpoints were fully restored by 11:21 PT. 3️⃣ @MarathonBuild, incubated by Kite, brought Kimi K3 online as its long-context flagship across all four completion windows, and moved to keep its signup credit with the developers actually running jobs, adding a one-click reclaim in the dashboard. 4️⃣ We published clips from both Hubble podcast conversations with @Vishwa_lab: our Co-Founder & CEO @ChiZhangData on why adoption is decided in the middle of an agentic workflow rather than at the identity or payment end, and our Co-Founder & CTO @scottshics on the four IDs an agent needs pinned before it can transact, user ID, model ID, agent harness ID, and runtime ID. 5️⃣ We published the latest AI Agents Pulse, a biweekly recap running from record-breaking open-source releases to escalating policy scrutiny as agentic AI matures into a production reality. 6️⃣ We sponsored the RDI Agentic AI Summit at @UCBerkeley and spent the days on site talking with builders, then hosted Agentic AI Summit After Hours with @HaasBlockchain, Haas Fintech Club, and Agents' Last Exam once Day 1 wrapped. 7️⃣ Our Head of Blockchain Product & Infrastructure @Henryleemr joined AI-VOLUTION The Series 2026 by @SCB10X_OFFICIAL to discuss trusted payments for agents. 8️⃣ At Malaysia Blockchain Week, @Henryleemr moderated a panel on how data becomes a strategic asset in the AI era with @AsianCryptoBoy, @Aileentech, and @Roy0x1. The trust layer for the agentic internet is being assembled piece by piece. 🪁

Walmart is down more than 9% after reporting its first U.S. comparable-sales miss in more than five years. Management said consumers are making trade-offs as discretionary spending softened. This week’s retail earnings give a clearer pulse on the U.S. consumer: ▸ $WMT Walmart: shoppers prioritized groceries and essentials as discretionary spending softened ▸ $TGT Target: traffic grew, with food & beverage among its strongest categories ▸ $HD Home Depot: smaller repair and maintenance projects held up, while larger renovations stayed soft ▸ $LOW Lowe’s: contractor demand helped offset weakness in larger DIY remodeling projects Consumers are still spending. But necessities and smaller projects are holding up better than bigger discretionary purchases.

From frontier-model launches and managed agent runtimes to smart-home control and independent oversight, the period since our last edition brought major developments across the AI-agent stack. Here’s everything worth catching up on in the latest edition of AI Agents Pulse: 1️⃣ OpenAI released GPT-6 Astra, its most capable model to be broadly deployed and the first OpenAI model to reach the Critical level of cybersecurity capability under its Preparedness Framework. 2️⃣ Google introduced Gemini 3.8 Flash for long-horizon coding and autonomous agents at $0.75 per million input tokens and $3.75 per million output tokens, alongside Gemini 3.8 Flash Cyber for trusted defenders through the Fairwind Program. 3️⃣ OpenAI released the Agents API in public beta for all developers. Powered by the open-source Codex harness, it supports long-running sessions, MCP and other tools, and multi-agent orchestration with subagents. 4️⃣ Meta introduced Muse, a personal agent running in a dedicated Muse Secure VM. It can browse, fill forms, keep working after the app closes, and seek approval before sending email or making purchases. 5️⃣ Anthropic announced a redesigned Claude Code Projects beta whose coordinator scopes work, delegates to parallel cloud threads, reviews outputs, and shares project memory. Initial access is limited to select Pro and Max subscribers using cloud sessions. 6️⃣ Google made Home MCP available in early access, letting compatible agents inspect home structures and device state, control devices, and query history. Its safeguards prohibit sensitive actions such as unlocking doors. 7️⃣ Salesforce introduced AIforce, a live interface layer that lets agents reason and act across Salesforce data, workflows, business logic, permissions, security, and governance from interfaces including Claude and Slack. 8️⃣ Anthropic announced a non-exclusive embedded-evaluation partnership with Accenture, led by Faculty. Each company expects to invest at least $1 billion over five years, while operating details and evaluation standards are still being worked out. 9️⃣ California Governor Gavin Newsom issued an executive order accelerating independent AI oversight and directing experts to deliver recommendations within two months, including how to advance an independently verified kill switch for frontier models. The order seeks recommendations rather than imposing a completed kill-switch mandate today.

We found 42,000 accounts automating replies using chatbots and have removed them from the platform. X's core value is providing an authentic pulse on humanity -- and using AI to programmatically engage with users without a human in the loop runs counter to our mission.

anything/anything memes were solved. so i took a break. but always kept a pulse on the market. robinhood chain + wallet rollout is what first piqued my interest. saw cashcat, bought some but it wasn’t really new. we’ve played this game before. something becomes culturally relevant, someone makes a meme around it, a market forms around the attention. then i kept looking and found something weirder: memes paired with stocks. robinhood, one of the biggest retail trading platforms in the world, had started putting stocks onchain. rwas never made sense to me, btw. i never understood why i should get excited about real estate onchain when i can just… buy real estate. but this clicked. money had already become internet-native. now real assets were becoming internet-native too. which meant they could interact with all the weird things the internet had invented around money. and stocks are a particularly good place for this to start, because stocks are already internet culture. people have relationships with companies, tickers, founders. they argue about them, meme them, build communities around them. now the assets themselves are entering the same environment as the culture that surrounds them. i’ve been calling this culture/capital: serious assets learning to spread like memes, culture becoming a distribution layer for capital. so i started digging into who’s building in this new game. most of what i found were launchpads. you can create memes paired with stocks. at first i thought the interesting thing was simply that you could pair the two. it’s not. the interesting thing is what becomes possible once the relationship exists. a cultural asset can now have a direct economic relationship with a productive one. take carry, one simple consequence. a meme is basically a carryless cultural asset. you hold it and your outcome depends almost entirely on what happens to the meme itself. attach an underlying and suddenly the cultural asset can accumulate something outside itself. meme + underlying introduces carry into an otherwise carryless cultural asset. you could say this is just reflections, or cashback, or dividends, or yield farming reinvented. maybe. finance has been recycling the same primitives since bartering. the interesting part was never the primitive itself. it’s what we’re starting to attach the primitives to. and that’s where it started getting much weirder for me. culture has always produced value. it just couldn’t keep it. we make songs, images, characters, stories, jokes and when they get valuable, something else has always had to keep the proceeds. the creator, the label, the company, the platform, the ip holder. culture spreads, institutions retain. memecoins gave culture a price, but the economic output is still mostly a closed loop of attention into price and back into attention. what happens when the cultural object itself can start keeping some of it? memecoins already made the first jump: a viral thing on the internet could become an asset. now the asset can start owning things. what happens when a meme develops a balance sheet? when something that used to only carry meaning and attention can start owning assets and accumulating value outside itself? that’s already a strange new object. not autonomous necessarily. owning something and being able to act on your own are two different things. but something that used to only be owned is now entering the class of things that can own. things can get absurd really fast. and this is where i think it gets much bigger than memes paired with stocks. creators have always tried to create something valuable. creating something capable of accumulating value is a different project entirely. the question stops being “how do i monetize this thing?” and becomes “what can this thing own? what can it keep? what happens to it after me?” culture always spawns from somewhere, too. someone made the first image, wrote the song, created the character, started the joke. which unfortunately brings me back to nfts. i increasingly think they arrived before a lot of the things they were actually useful for. yes art and collectibles are real. but the internet got incredibly good at copying and distributing things and incredibly bad at remembering where they came from. when culture couldn’t keep anything, forgetting where it came from was mostly a cultural problem. when things can start owning things, “where did this come from?” becomes an economic question too. an internet full of remixable, economically capable objects is going to need a way to remember where things came from. and then a bunch of things we’ve spent years experimenting with started looking different to me. a meta arrives, everyone loses their mind, the trade gets crowded, it dies and we move on. but the capability doesn’t die with the trade. nft mania came and went, provenance remained. defi summer came and went, programmable finance remained. the ai agent trade came and went, but software being able to hold a wallet and act economically remained interesting. memecoin mania will eventually come and go, but culture becoming instantly liquid isn’t going away. rwas might stop being a narrative one day, but the world’s assets being internet-native will remain. the metas die. the capabilities accumulate. eventually the accumulated capabilities start to compose. culture/capital is the version i’ve been chewing on, but the more i look at it, the more it feels like one instance of something larger: anything/anything. once all of this lives in the same environment, arbitrary things can start having economic relationships with other arbitrary things. culture can own capital. capital can distribute through culture. one cultural object can own another. the number of possible relationships explodes. i don’t know what the final object looks like and i think pretending to know would miss the interesting part. we spent the last decade building all these weird toys separately. now they’re starting to compose.

$ETH 🔥 Afternoon Ethereum technical update: --------------------------------------- (4h Time frame) : ETH has hit our yellow zone resistance, and price action is telling us we need to take caution in the short term. We printed a topping signal, so that needs to be evaluated. There was heads up that this would happen on both BTC as I mentioned with the bearish Phantom divergence before the correction, and also here on ETH as you see the red div reading before the T printed at resistance. But what now? 👇 We need to monitor the yellow line support line for further potential weakness that could gain momentum. I've shared my stop loss suggestions with OS members. By monitoring these lower time frames you are able to make sure you dont get caught off guard on the higher time frames. This is how you keep a REAL pulse on the market and stay ready for anything... Planning ahead... Good thing you have me to do that for everyone! If you guys engage in comments I'll keep these posts/updates daily to ETH also.
