SEC reopens the rulebook on crypto and prediction-market ETFs
The SEC (
@SECGov) is asking whether its ETF rules can keep up with the flood of novel funds. Crypto, event contracts, leverage, private assets, all now in scope.
It wants public input on whether to slow automatic launches, add new guardrails, or let itself block funds before they list.
The pipeline that put $SOL and $DOGE ETFs on the market may be in for more friction. Comments due in 60 days.
