Russian soldiers under 25 are dying in increasing numbers in the war against Ukraine
An analysis of more than 200,000 requests submitted to the I Want to Find project for missing Russian servicemen found that:
⚫️ In 2024, soldiers under 25 accounted for 8.5% of all requests.
⚫️ After conscripts were deployed to the Kursk border area, that share jumped to 16%.
⚫️ It stood at 13% in 2025 and rose above 15% again in 2026.
This trend is expected to continue. Some Russians are being sent to the front immediately after turning 18.
PLA soldiers train on battlefield survival techniques and counter‑FPV drone tactics, using low‑altitude anti‑air weapons, interceptor launchers, and a combination of camouflage, terrain exploitation, and protective cover.
