That’s one big chandelier… The @NASAHubble team captured this sparkling photo of the Chandelier Cluster, a globular star cluster within our Milky Way galaxy. A globular cluster is a dense collection of thousands to millions of stars bound by gravity.

Planning. Patience. Perfect timing. Photographer Matt Ley captured the full moon appearing to shine from inside Highland Light Station at Cape Cod National Seashore. Established in 1797, it's one of more than 700 historic lighthouses still standing across the United States.

During his time with Arsenal, Wojciech Szczesny was fined after being caught smoking. That led to the chant Barcelona fans began singing after immediately connecting with him. They shout ‘Szczesny fumador (the smoker)’. Barcelona have had two street parades to celebrate trophies since he joined the club. At the first one, he wore a straw hat bearing the words: ‘Fumador’ (smoker). At the second, he joined some fans in singing his chant. “I’ve never had my own chant before, so that’s already a surprising thing,” he says. “I enjoyed it. I try to be as authentic as I can, and people seem to appreciate it. “It might not seem the most professional thing in the world, but I am who I am. People know that I have one addiction that I cannot get rid of. “And I think even that feels authentic to them, because I would imagine that a lot of players have certain addictions, whether it’s nicotine or alcohol or gambling, I don’t know. But there’s one player who is quite open about it, and that’s me. And it’s an addiction that I’m not even willing to fight. I embrace it, and maybe it just feels authentic to people. “People don’t think I smoke because they saw a hidden photo of me from the paparazzi. I admitted to my addiction, and it’s an addiction that a lot of people in the world have. “People can probably relate to it. I don’t even think about recommending people to take up smoking. I think it’s a terrible thing and everybody should avoid it.” Read @Laia_Cervello’s full interview with Szczesny ⤵️ 🔗

CURIOUS: what's one piece of developer tooling you wish existed for Solana protocol engineers but doesn't today?
Realtalk. I still think $JUP can go back to $1 But there's one huge problem: Jupiter's cash cow (Perps) is dying. They completely slept on this market A year ago, Perps generated around $8M/month. Today, a good month is closer to $3M. That's roughly $60M in annual revenue gone, representing more than 50% of the protocol's revenue. Which brings us to the next issue: Buybacks have become too small to have much economic or psychological impact Jupiter allocates 50% of revenue to buybacks (and burns?), which currently annualizes to around $24M Meanwhile, Hyperliquid uses 99% of protocol fees for buybacks, currently running at roughly $730M annualized It's pretty clear Jupiter lost significant Perps market share, especially after the cancelled airdrop. What they need now is another spotlight product Hyperliquid has a product that prints millions every month and has a clear vision: becoming the future of finance and trading Jupiter has some of the best products in crypto, but it feels like they have a bit of everything without that one true unicorn that defines the ecosystem You could argue Jupiter doesn't need one because it's becoming the onchain super app. That's a fair point But then basically competing with centralized exchanges is incredibly difficult. They have deeper pockets, stronger incentives, better staking programs, and more resources I really hope Jupiter surprises us with a banger, because at their current size I don't think the buybacks do anything P.S. I like GUM, but I don't think it'll be that unicorn product. In my opinion, it's launching 2–3 years too late into a market that's already crowded with similar products P.S. II. I'm a large $JUP holder and the #1# JUP bull poster, so this shouldn't be FUD. It's simply my honest assessment of where Jupiter stands today and the feedback I'd give the team
