Heavy rain and torrential downpours continue in Shenyang as the city raises its flood alert to Level 2 (orange). Schools and kindergartens are closed, outdoor events and construction work are suspended. Residents are urged to stay indoors unless absolutely necessary.

Due to torrential rainfall brought by Typhoon Bavi, the navigation beacon "Shenyang Lighthouse" on the Hunhe River in Liaoning drifted downstream, coming into contact with power lines during its drift. It was later salvaged.
