The US plans to tell dozens of nations they must pick sides in its AI race with China, Reuters reports. The US won 35 signatories to the AI Opportunity Statement for cooperation on AI models, and dozens of nations to the Pax Silica supply chain resilience initiative. China responded by launching the World Artificial Intelligence Cooperation Organization to promote open-weight AI models.
