Hangul is the most sublime form of writing system ever invented. Imagine otherwise memorising thousands of pictographs like an ancient Sumerian. Or imagine having to memorise the pronunciation of words instead of just knowing from the written form.
Absolute disgrace that the Foreign Service Institute in the US thinks Korean is the hardest language, while random European girls are learning it in six months from watching kdrama and kpop.
Had a pretty productive week. Flow is such a strange state, it feels almost sublime when you’re in it. Grok 4.5 in Cursor certainly played a big part in that.
- Upgraded the dungeon visuals to make it feel more atmospheric
- Redesigned 18 enemies and added different enemy poses when they attack or get hurt
- Redesigned all 86 cards in the game, I basically had Grok guide me through the redesign process in a structured way, card by card
- Reworked many of the combat VFX to make it feel more juicy
Still more work to go but really happy with the progress.
