The universe is the answer. The work is to ask better questions. Expand the scope and scale of consciousness biological and digital until the meaning of existence becomes legible. A single-planet species is simply waiting for extinction, self-inflicted or external. Multiplanetary status is the minimum great filter that must be passed.

The universe does not speak plain English. It knows that would be lossy, imprecise, and a limit on what can be, possibly to be twisted. It speaks in physics and probability, transmitting its message from the past through light. It leaves the hint only for the curious to read.
