Rare has banned a well-known Sea of Thieves creator named Bruno, also known as heslashthem. The ban followed serious claims that he engaged in misconduct with people under 18. He allegedly made sexual jokes with underage players, asked for private pictures, and tricked a 15-year-old into sending explicit photos and messages for seven months. Screenshots, chat logs, and documents were shared on Reddit, Discord, and elsewhere. Rare removed him from the Boatswain program and banned him from the official forums. They said they are investigating all reports but cannot comment on individual cases publicly. Many prominent Sea of Thieves Partner Program members have quit. They want Rare to explain how it selects ambassadors and to implement better rules to prevent this.
