While the physical scoreboard on the ship's hull displays 103 drone symbols and 34 ship symbols, official citations released by the U.S. Navy credit the entire strike group with higher combat numbers overall (including 77 drones shot down, 64 Iranian vessels sunk, 21 cruise missiles destroyed, and 450 Tomahawk launches). The visual scoreboard painted on the island represents a combination of direct carrier air wing actions alongside the individual contributions of escorting destroyers like the USS Spruance (DDG-111) and USS Michael Murphy (DDG-112).

USS George Washington’s (CVN 73) fitness instructor, known on the ship as the “Fit Boss”, leads crew members through a workout in the hangar bay. As a floating city, the aircraft carrier has multiple fitness facilities available around the clock.
