What Is UiPath Cartographer? The Map of Work in 90 Seconds 📌 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝘆 = the discipline of building and maintaining maps. UiPath just pointed that idea at enterprise work. At 𝗨𝗶𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, UiPath launched 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝗲𝗿 — what CEO Daniel Dines called "the most consequential announcement in our history." Here's the breakdown 👇 🔹 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺 Every company has two versions of every process: the one in the official documents, and the one that actually runs. Exceptions, workarounds, judgment calls — that knowledge lives in people's heads, not in the docs. 🔹 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀 An agent that works as a copilot to the human "cartographers" in a company — the people who map how work runs. Together they build the 𝗠𝗮𝗽 𝗼𝗳 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸: a living, governed asset you can build processes on, reengineer processes on, and collaborate around as a team. 🔹 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀 Three ways in: ✅ Prebuilt templates (loan origination, claims review) ✅ The Process Atlas library ✅ Build-your-own for proprietary processes It generates design docs and build-ready specs, feeds UiPath Maestro for orchestration, and a decision ledger keeps the map in sync. 🔹 𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗶𝘁'𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 Business analysts and process teams who spend months on workshops and manual discovery just to understand one process. 🔹 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 An insurance claim — long-running, exception-heavy, can take a month or more. Mapping it by hand took analysts months. Cartographer shrinks it to weeks, even days. Day 1 at @UiPath Fusion 2026: done and dusted. ✅ What a day. Amazing sessions, wall-to-wall energy, and I had a blast running the Ashling Partners booth AND the UiPath Community booth — two very different vibes, both incredible. UiPath came out swinging with launches: 🗺️ **Cartographer** — the Map of Work, capturing how work *actually* runs across the enterprise (exceptions, judgment calls and all) 💻 **Maestro Flow** — developer-first orchestration for coding agents, build in Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot or Codex and ship to production without rebuilding 🤖 Live agentic demos that absolutely stole the show The best part though? The people. Met so many clients, partners, and community folks — the conversations alone were worth the trip. Day 2, here we come. If you're at Fusion, come say hi! 👋 #UiPathFusion# #UiPath# #AgenticAI# #Automation# #MapOfWork# #AIOrchestration#
