Crypto is starting to look a lot like summer 2021. For anyone that wasn’t there let me explain what happened… Bitcoin had a V-shape recovery to a new ATH after a 50% pullback. Although Bitcoin didn’t go to “crazy new highs”, Altcoins went absolutely MENTAL. Everything is going parabolic and retail starts flooding in because all their crypto friends are making MILLIONS. This all happened between July 2021 to November 2021. 5 months… and all the crypto bros went from complete losers to filthy fkn rich in just 5 months. Brace yourselves. It’s about to happen again.

Brian created a framework to evaluate @CantonNetwork, @tempo, and @0xMiden across multiple layers. Summary Notes [COMING SOON] We discussed: (i) where privacy lives in the stack, (ii) the cryptographic tools (FHE, ZK, TEE) and layers (payment channels, L1s, nodes) used for privacy, (iii) how existing financial institutions work, (iv) why and when privacy is needed, and (v) how each chain solves the regulatory auditability problem, e.g. viewing keys.
