Don't Nod is reportedly facing serious financial problems. According to journalist Gautoz, an audit report warns that the studio could run out of cash by November if it doesn’t secure new funding. The report also claims that Tencent is not willing to provide more money or increase its investment. Don't Nod’s own financial reports already showed that the company was under pressure and would need additional funding to continue operating in the long term. The studio is best known for games like Life Is Strange, Vampyr, Jusant, Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, and Lost Records: Bloom & Rage.

Vampire Survivors developer Poncle says it is reviewing its collaboration with Fortnite following reports that Epic Games is using generative AI to create various game assets, including Fortnite characters. “Following today’s news about gen AI usage by Epic to create all sort of game assets, including Fortnite characters, we’re currently ‘reviewing’ our collaboration with Fortnite. We’ll let you know if anything moves forward.”
