Warcraft III: Legacy is back on the Battlenet app. If you own Warcraft III: Reforged, you can now play the old classic version. It is the same as the game before Reforged came out. To get it, open the Battlenet app. Go to your Warcraft III page. Find the Game Version menu at the bottom left, above the Play button. Select Warcraft III - Legacy TFT 1.29. It will download about 6.25 GB. Right now, you can only play it offline or with friends on the same local network. Online play on Battlenet is not ready yet. This is great for the original story campaigns and old custom maps that work best on this version.

Blizzard’s lawsuit against the developers behind the Ascension World of Warcraft private server is still ongoing. The developers have filed a counter-notice asking the court for more time to respond to Blizzard’s claims, which could delay the case. At the same time, they are still releasing new updates and content for the server. Blizzard says the private server breaks its copyrights and trademarks, violates the DMCA, and includes other illegal activities. The company wants the server shut down and is seeking financial damages.

The project uses playerbots that move around, level up, complete quests, and act like normal players. The creator built a custom bridge between Ollama and the DeepSeek API, enabling natural conversations. The AI characters discuss quests, strategies, and chat with each other and players in a way that mimics real MMO interactions but every character is AI-controlled.

The original Collector’s Edition has become highly valuable, with complete copies and unused codes selling for €500 to over €1,500 depending on condition and demand.
