The medical examiner found burns, multiple broken ribs, a transected pancreas, and evidence of repeated blows over a month. ICE Director Todd Lyons issued a press release calling Wendy a mother who “abandoned” her son to “a violent murderer.” A Florida activist told reporters she knew of six children left behind in a single week after their parents were deported.
