X Numbers are now officially live in XChat This is basically a private contact code that lets people message or call you without needing your phone number or a follow How it works: • Create an optional X Number inside Chat • Share it with anyone you want to reach you • They can message you even if your inbox is closed • Messages go directly to your inbox instead of requests • They can call you too, depending on your call settings • You can disable or refresh the number anytime if it gets shared too widely And this is completely separate from your actual phone number Your X Number basically becomes another way for people to reach you directly without giving out your real number
