Bot detection & human verification will be one of the most urgent demands for businesses over the coming years. Agent swarms will suffocate every website and form; small companies and government websites are most vulnerable.
There is a huge gap in the market for this right now. When we looked at what offerings were in the market to use at X, there was not a single company that brought together all the latest technologies so we had to do it all in-house.

There are so many seasoned software executives who are completely out of their element with the types of products that will breakout in the next few years.
Over the last 20 years, their brains were wired to build apps that deliver value by outputting deterministic results, but AI produces value from probabilistic results. This is such a different way to approach how something should work.
Young people who are thinking in this way from the outset will be at a significant advantage -- in the same way they were advantaged when thinking about how products could be social in 2010.

Our house in Toronto had this fancy glassed wine cellar, but we are not big wine drinkers.
Anyways, it had good climate control so here is my rack cellar.
My closet is turning into a micro data center. I will soon need watercooling and power generators. Not sure how I ended up here, but it made sense at that time.

I can imagine traders harassing users to endorse it + contributing to reply spam.

More broadly, it feels like mass standardization of products will be a relic of the past.
Instead of scrolling through pages of Amazon listings to find the closest thing you wanted, consumers will be matched to physical products that precisely meet their preferences — even if it costs a multiple of the mass produced version.

I recently got a dog and I quickly learned that a puppy needs to be taken out every hour to pee for up to 6 months. Otherwise, it won’t ever be trained.
I found a moisture sensor that sounds an alarm that could train the dog—but it was a tiny strip that didn’t cover much floor space.
So I asked AI to find the engineer who built it, it reached out to him, he shared his supplier in China and sent the original order documents, then the bot drafted the larger version along with a CAD model and it’s getting manufactured now.
Software problems are solved.
