A major breakthrough in controller calibration has been achieved for Xbox hardware. >An unpatchable method now permanently writes custom joystick settings directly into the controller’s built-in memory. This means the fix cannot be blocked, removed, or changed by Microsoft or through future firmware updates. >Developed through collaboration between modyfikatorcasper, Lewy20041, and DriftGuard, the solution offers manual and automatic joystick calibration to permanently fix stick drift. >It also allows any joystick module to be replaced while maintaining factory-level accuracy and extending the controller’s lifespan. >The method works flawlessly on every Xbox controller model with no exceptions -Xbox 360 (all versions) -Xbox One Standard (1537/1697) -Xbox One S/X (1708) -Xbox Series S/X (1914) -Xbox Elite V1 (1698) -Xbox Elite V2/Core (1797) >The same DriftGuard tool also supports calibration for many other controllers, including all PS4 versions (JDM-010 to JDM-055), PS5 DualSense and Edge, Scuf controllers, Nintendo Switch Pro Controllers, and Joy-Cons. >Calibration data is saved directly inside the controller, so the settings continue to work on any connected device.

Fans are calling out Obsidian Entertainment after the studio announced a “free upgrade” for The Outer Worlds. Obsidian’s April 30 announcement said things like: “If you have at least the base edition of The Outer Worlds in your library before May 27th, you will be receiving the Spacer’s Choice Edition free. That’s right, free! This is for all platforms…” The issue is that many players say the upgrade is not truly free for everyone. To access the upgraded The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition: > On PC, Ps5, and Xbox X|S, owners of the base game before May 27 receive the upgraded edition at no extra cost. >On last-gen (PS4 and Xbox One), players must own both the base game and the two DLC expansions to qualify for the free upgrade. The Outer Worlds later released a statement regarding The Spacer’s Choice Edition upgrade: "If you purchased the base game on Xbox One or PlayStation 4 between 4/30 and 5/27, or have any issues with the upgrade, please contact our support team and we’ll work with you to make it right."
