After exploring cutting-edge innovation in Shenzhen, the next stop of the "Harvard Deep Dive in China – Peking Univ." program brought participants to Guiyang, the capital of Guizhou Province.
For William, the city's charm came from the combination of old and new: centuries of history, vibrant local traditions, and a modern city full of energy.
"It's very peaceful, and at the same time very energetic."
From Shenzhen to Guiyang and onward to Beijing, each stop offers a new perspective on China.

Would you buy a Chinese supercar?
Through the "Harvard Deep Dive in China – Peking Univ." program, fellows from Harvard and MIT explored BYD's headquarters to better understand China's rapid rise in EV technology and manufacturing.
45 patents a day.
