BREAKING: @AntaresNuclear has secured a $470M Series C after achieving criticality with its Mark-0 reactor. The startup is developing nuclear microreactors for the U.S. Air Force. Paradigm and Caffeinated Capital co-led the round.

I was just telling my son about Standard Nuclear, Radiant, and Antares. He told me, “Did you know that I actually started Radiant? It’s my company.” I told him I was shocked he could build a nuclear company under my nose without me knowing. He said “Yeah and we’re almost going to power Mars, we’re just one or two WiFi’s away.”

Nuclear energy is back in America. Following @POTUS's EO requiring a reactor operating on a military base by September 2028, the @USArmy today selected five companies to build it: Antares, BWXT, General Atomics, Radiant, and Westinghouse. The DoE announced participants for its Nuclear Energy Launch Pad initiative, and almost 20% are backed by @humbavc! It's great to see and @AntaresNuclear on the list, and I'm very bullish on nuclear energy in the US in coming years.
