fintech needs its own version of “sign in with Google” call it OneKYC. verify your KYC or KYB once, then use that same profile to apply to any neobank, exchange, trading platform, or financial app. no filling out the same forms over and over. no uploading the same documents for the 20th time. an AI agent keeps your profile updated and handles the applications for you. each platform still runs its own compliance checks and makes the final approval decision. OneKYC just removes all the repetitive work in between. the incentives work on both sides: users get a much easier way to apply and access financial products. platforms get less onboarding friction, more completed applications, more activated accounts, and ultimately more volume. you’re selling convenience to users and conversion to platforms. then 18 months later, one of the big identity infra companies acquires you for $1B. what VC is deploying capital into this? i know a few people building versions of it right now.
