Giving advice beats asking for it: Going to someone for guidance keeps you in a passive frame of mind and makes you feel dependent on others. Find someone with a similar challenge and give them advice instead. In research by Lauren Eskris-Winkler and colleagues, people randomly assigned to give advice ended up more motivated and more confident. Part of feeling you matter is feeling you have something to contribute. Ask your kid for advice on a challenge you're facing. giving tools broad runtime access creates silent permission leaks. an unisolated tool inherits root capabilities from the host agent, and a runaway loop calls endpoints nobody meant to expose. isolating tool-level capabilities and scoping writes per-tool keeps multi-step agent execution safe.

Giving an app access to Core Lightning need not mean handing it unrestricted control. A rune can carry restrictions on methods, time or peer identity. More restrictions can be appended before sharing it; removing existing restrictions makes it invalid. There is a subtle resource boundary: derived runes retain the same ID and compete for the parent's rate limit. Plan delegation with that shared budget in mind. Keep the broader original private; restricting a copy does not narrow the original's powers.
