Glasses on, top off. Who’s ready to investigate?
Glass Substrates Are Progressing Faster Than Ever
Lately, it's SEMCO that's been pushing commercialization forward
SEMCO has just completed initial reliability testing of its 100 × 100 mm glass substrates and moved to package-level testing using actual customer chips
The company is working with several major global customers
SEMCO targets an operational production line by late 2027 and full-scale manufacturing in 2028
Previous TGV reliability issues delayed equipment orders, making successful package-level validation a critical milestone
It's strongly rumored that $LPK played a key role in resolving these issues, with improvements coming primarily from the development of thicker glass substrates

Glassnode: Approximately 6.26 Million BTC Have Public Keys Exposed to Quantum Computing Risks
Glassnode co-founder Rafael said that approximately 6.26 million BTC, or 31.2% of the total supply, are held in addresses with publicly exposed public keys, up from 24.8% in early 2021. Of this amount, around 4.33 million BTC are exposed due to address reuse, while another 1.94 million BTC are directly exposed through script types such as P2PK and Taproot.
Among BTC held by exchanges, approximately 1.79 million BTC have exposed public keys, accounting for 57% of identified exchange holdings, up from 55% in May this year. Rafael stressed that the statistics only reflect on-chain public-key exposure, do not indicate that the assets have been attacked, and do not constitute an assessment of the security of exchanges or custodians.

Glasser released a pay-per-call data service for AI agents!
It allows agents to access ~2000 paid API endpoints across different providers, under a single key without a subscription.
Users can get started by typing "set up " into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or any other supported agent. The agent automatically installs the Glasser CLI and opens a browser window to sign in.
After that, the agent handles the catalog itself, finds an endpoint for the job, checks how much the call will cost, runs it, and reports how much was spent.
Most of these data sources are usually locked behind separate monthly plans reserved for SEO, sales, and company research tools. Glasser predicts that most teams would only need a few lookups from each source and would prefer to pay for those calls alone.
There’s also an open-source skills library on GitHub facilitating jobs like competitor research, SEO audits, and prospect lists. The skills can be mounted on an existing agent setup, allowing a workflow that used to scrape pages to call a paid source.
We tested it on two jobs, costing a total of $0.038 out of the free $1 credit.
> An Apollo lookup on returned a result in under half a second, with data on headcount, funding rounds, investors, a department breakdown, and 132 detected technologies, costing $0.026.
> A DataForSEO search on our own domain found 2,995 keywords testingcatalog[.]com ranks for on Google in the US, and returned the top 100 with positions and search volume, for $0.012.
New workspaces get $1 in credit to try it, and don’t require a card.

Glass substrates will likely become a big investment theme in 2027, especially if we remain in a bull cycle, where themes tend to get fast-tracked

Glass substrates are arriving sooner than planned.
NVIDIA is pressing its substrate makers to speed up development, which could bring adoption to before 2028. BOE has 24 layer substrates over 100 by 100 mm already validated in house and being tested with real server CPUs and GPUs, with a mass production investment decision by 1H27. Samsung Electro Mechanics and LG Innotek are targeting 2027 to 2028.
Glass replaces the conventional core inside the package with a much flatter and more stable material, so AI chips can be packed denser and run cooler. Packaging is turning into the next capex fight after CoWoS.

Glass Telescope Model
Before they built the great Hale Telescope of Mt. Palomar, they made a glass model. And a winged pin became known too at the same time. 1937
