And I walked in my boss's office and fired myself. Humiliating, especially being the boss's son. Oh my God, I'm a failure. I couldn't make this work. The business was still doing fine, but I wasn't doing a good job as a leader. And I knew there was someone else that had the comparative advantage to be a great operator, CEO, president type role.
