It will be the first tool that can physically help us with almost anything… imagine having a robot that can cook dinner, clean the house, carry groceries, help care for elderly family members, assist people with disabilities, work dangerous jobs, and take care of repetitive things that most people don’t enjoy. Optimus gives people more time to spend with their families, pursue hobbies, learn new skills, or simply rest. If Tesla succeeds in making Optimus affordable and capable at scale, it will become as common as a smartphone or a car or more.
