Ally Pankiw, a filmmaker who directed multiple episodes of ‘Black Mirror,’ said that she declined the opportunity to join HBO’s ‘Harry Poter’ as a director to avoid ‘funding transphobia.’

Two directors linked to major TV hits have reportedly turned down HBO’s upcoming Harry Potter series due to J.K. Rowling’s transphobia. “Absolutely f—ing not!
