Premier Li Qiang: Companies are an important force in driving digital trade. We warmly welcome more rigorous investment from companies of all countries and their long-term commitment in the Chinese market. We will fully implement national treatment for foreign-invested enterprises, resolve their reasonable concerns, and enable them to run and grow their business with confidence.

Premier Li Qiang: For many years, China has been steadfastly promoting economic globalization. We honor our commitments, strengthen cooperation, uphold equality and pursue win-win outcomes. This way, we achieve development at home and benefit the wider world at the same time. In the digital era, China will continue to embrace the world, deepen economic and trade cooperation with all parties, and jointly promote global economic recovery and growth.

Premier Li Qiang: The international community should enhance North-South cooperation in the field of digital trade, and provide more support to developing countries in terms of technology, infrastructure and personnel training. Development needs to have both speed and a human touch if we are to realize global prosperity and better life for all.

Premier Li Qiang: China has built the WorldSkills Museum in Shanghai. We are ready to join all parties to build the global skills innovation center, strengthen skills development under the Belt and Road Initiative and through South-South cooperation, and better benefit people of all countries.

Premier Li Qiang: As skills were passed down through thousands of years, Chinese workers have not only created splendid material abundance, but left behind a legacy of craftsmanship. Today, such a spirit is enriched in the new era. A broad consensus is forged, that is, work is glorious, skills are precious, and creation is great.

Premier Li Qiang: Investing in skills is investing in the future, and empowering workers is empowering development. We will keep improving the VET system serving all workers and covering the whole life cycle, so that more workers could get continuous mid-career “recharge” and their skills could light up their road to a better life.
