On National Fentanyl Prevention and Awareness Day, we remember those we've lost, and we fight for the ones we can still protect. In 2025, @DEAHQ seized more than 47 million fentanyl-laced counterfeit pills and nearly 10,000 pounds of fentanyl powder—equivalent to more than 369 million lethal doses of fentanyl. So far this year, fentanyl seizures represent over 239 million deadly doses. Just 2 milligrams—smaller than a grain of salt—can kill. This Justice Department is committed to combating the fentanyl crisis and keeping Americans and our communities safe.
